Eligibility
- As per UGC Guidelines, 2018 published in the Gazette of India and amendments from time to time.
- Engagement as Guest Faculty / Retired Faculty.
- Preferred specializations: Zoology - Biotech/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Public Health/Bio-Informatics; Chemistry - Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry.
Honorarium
- With Ph.D. (PG courses): Rs. 1,000/- per class; Max 60 classes/month = Rs. 60,000/-
- Without Ph.D. (PG/UG courses): Rs. 750/- per class; Max 60 classes/month = Rs. 45,000/-
- Retired faculties: 10 days leave in a year.
Tenure
Maximum 1 year at a time, or till the vacancy is filled regularly, whichever is earlier. Strictly temporary - no regular/contractual/ad-hoc appointments. Continuation subject to satisfactory quarterly review. Retired faculties may teach till 70 years.
Selection
As per statute/UGC guidelines. Merit list of twice the number of vacancies, valid for one year. Communication via registered email only.
