RailTel Apprenticeship Training 2026-27 – 40 Posts (Graduate & Diploma Engineers)

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. (A Navratna PSU under Ministry of Railways) invites applications for Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the Financial Year 2026-27. Candidates will undergo one-year apprenticeship training at various RailTel locations across India including Bangalore, Secunderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow and many more.

• Eastern Region: Kolkata, Malda, Asansol, Patna, Dhanbad, Samastipur, Sonepur, Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, New Jalpaiguri

Allotment shall be subject to availability of RailTel's presence at the selected location.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate Apprentice: Full-time regular 4-year BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication / Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation (or any combination where Electronics is a main branch) with minimum 60% aggregate marks from AICTE-approved college. OR Passed Sections A and B of Institution Examinations of IE(I) in relevant branches. OR Passed Graduate Membership Examination of IETE in relevant branches.
• Diploma Apprentice: Full-time regular 3-year Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the above-mentioned branches with minimum 60% aggregate marks from AICTE-approved college.

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 28.07.2026 (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Presidential/Governmental Directives).

Important:

• No Engineering Graduate or Diploma Holder who has undergone/possessing training or job/work experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the qualification shall be eligible.
• Candidates who have completed three years post their Graduation/Diploma will not be considered.
• Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship or terminated apprenticeship mid-way or pursuing apprenticeship with other organizations are NOT eligible.
• Qualifications obtained through distance learning / part-time mode are NOT eligible.

Selection Process

• Merit list based on marks obtained in required qualification (minimum eligibility) and/or through interview.
• Preference to Government Institution pass-outs.
• Only medically fit candidates will be considered.
• Apprentices have no right to claim regular employment from RCIL.

How to Apply

1. Register on NATS 2.0 portal: nats.education.gov.in
2. Apply online through the NATS portal only. No other mode will be entertained.
3. Upload certificate showing CGPA or percentage. If only CGPA is mentioned, upload the CGPA to percentage conversion formula along with the undertaking (Annexure I) as a single PDF file (less than 1 MB).
4. Last date for receipt of application: 27.08.2026
