The Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat Raigarh (Chhattisgarh) has issued Advertisement No. 77307/जि.पं./स्था./VB-G RAM G/2026-27 dated 16.10.2026 inviting applications from eligible and interested candidates for 11 contractual posts at Zila Panchayat and Janpad Panchayat level under the Viksit Bharat Rojgar & Aajivika Mission Gramin (VB-G RAM G) for Raigarh district and the newly carved Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district. Applications are to be submitted only by registered post / speed post and must reach the office by 10.11.2026, 5:30 PM.

The advertisement also fixes, within the above, seats reserved for Chhattisgarh local women, ex-servicemen and local persons with disabilities; the number of posts may be increased or decreased, and reservation is applied as per the district roster.

Post-wise Qualification, Pay & Merit Marks

Age Limit & Domicile

• Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as on 01 January 2026.
• Age relaxation for Chhattisgarh residents and various categories as per orders issued from time to time by the General Administration Department, Government of Chhattisgarh.
• Serving employees of Government service, corporations / boards / contractual staff / Nagar Sainik - maximum age 45 years as per memo dated 16.09.2026.
• The applicant must be a permanent/local resident of Chhattisgarh; a self-attested copy of the domicile certificate is mandatory.
• A candidate who married before the minimum legal age for marriage is not eligible; married candidates must enclose the marriage certificate.

Contract Terms

• Contractual appointment is up to 28 February 2027; thereafter it may be extended by mutual consent on the basis of continuity, work ability, capacity, Annual Performance Appraisal and conduct, as per Government directions.
• Governed by the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Contract Appointment) Rules 2021 and updated instructions; leave as per the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Contract Appointment) Rules 2021.
• Either party may terminate the appointment by giving one month's prior notice or one month's pay in lieu thereof.
• No pension, gratuity or death benefit is admissible for the contractual service period.

Selection Process

1. All applications received are listed on merit basis and candidates are called for the practical / skill test.
2. Final selection list is prepared by adding the merit marks of the practical / skill test; the highest-scoring candidate is appointed.
3. A waiting list is maintained and is valid for 1 year; future vacancies are filled from it in order of seniority.
4. Where applications are more than 10 times the vacancies, candidates are called for the next stage in the ratio of 1:10.
5. Experience marks are given only for work experience in government rural development schemes at the same or higher pay scale; a valid document of experience certificate, pay scale, bank statement and NOC from the present employer is required.

How to Apply

• Applications in the prescribed proforma, in a closed envelope, only by registered post / speed post, addressed to Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat - Raigarh (Chhattisgarh), PIN 496001, must reach by 10.11.2026, 5:30 PM. Applications sent in person, by e-mail or by any other electronic means will not be accepted.
• A separate application is required for each post; attach one blank envelope bearing your own address with a Rs. 5 postal stamp.
• Write the name of the post / category applied for clearly on the top of the envelope, otherwise the application will be rejected.
• Attach self-attested copies of all documents: latest passport-size colour photograph, educational certificates and marksheets, permanent caste certificate with affidavit, CG domicile certificate, income certificate issued within the last 3 years for OBC non-creamy layer, disability certificate from the Medical Board, live registration certificate from the Employment Office (mandatory), and experience certificate with NOC if employed.

Important Notes

• A candidate who already has more than the prescribed number of children is not eligible; an affidavit in this regard is mandatory.
• A candidate who has married a person with a living spouse is not eligible, except with Government sanction.
• A candidate separated for irregularities in any Government department is not eligible.
• Inter-se seniority of candidates with equal marks is decided by age - the older candidate is preferred.
• The final decision on any dispute arising during the recruitment rests with the Collector and District Programme Coordinator (VB-G RAM G), Raigarh district.
