ISRO Recruitment 2026 – 242 Assistant, UDC, JPA & Stenographer Posts

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced 242 vacancies for the posts of Assistant, Junior Personal Assistant (JPA), Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Stenographer under Special Recruitment Drive (Advt. No. ISRO:ICRB:01(A-JPA):2026).

Posts & Vacancies

• Assistant (Post No. 1 & 5): 121 posts
• Junior Personal Assistant (JPA): 81 posts
• Assistant (Post No. 3): 22 posts
• Assistant (Post No. 4): 10 posts
• Stenographer (Post No. 6): 18 posts
• Total: 242 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Assistant / UDC (Post No. 1 & 5):

• Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10 from a recognized university
• Proficiency in computer usage
• One year of work experience

JPA / Stenographer (Post No. 2, 4 & 6):

• Graduation with minimum 60% marks OR Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with 60% marks
• English stenography speed of 60 words per minute
• Proficiency in computer usage
• One year of relevant work experience

Age Limit: 18 to 28 years (as on closing date). Age relaxation for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years) as per Govt rules.

Salary

• Pay Level: Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100) under 7th CPC
• Plus DA, HRA, Transport Allowance and other admissible allowances
• Medical facilities, subsidised canteen, LTC, Group Insurance, House Building Advance
