The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space invites online applications from meritorious graduates for Scientist/Engineer SC posts (Group A Gazetted, Level 10 of Pay Matrix) at constituent ISRO Centres and Autonomous Body PRL (Group A Non-Gazetted, Level 10) (Advt No. ISRO:ICRB:03(EMC):2026, dated 27-08-2026).

Essential Qualification
- BE / BTech or equivalent in Electronics & Communication / Mechanical / Computer Science Engineering with minimum 65% aggregate marks or CGPA 6.84/10
- Degree must be completed within the stipulated course duration; no CGPA-to-percentage conversion; rounding-off not allowed; ODL professional courses not eligible
Age Limit (as on 16-09-2026)
Maximum 28 years. Relaxation for Central Govt. civilian employees, Ex-servicemen and PwBD as per GOI rules (SC/ST+5, OBC-NCL+3 as applicable).
Pay
Level 10 of Pay Matrix, minimum Basic Pay Rs. 56,100/- per month + DA + HRA + Transport Allowance.
Application Fee
- Non-refundable Application Fee: Rs. 250/- for all posts
- Initially all candidates uniformly pay Rs. 750/- as processing fee (online via Bharatkosh e-Payment)
- Processing fee refunded to candidates who appear in the written test (full refund for fee-exempt categories like women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM; Rs. 500/- refund to others after deducting Rs. 250/- fee)

Selection Process
- Written Test (CBT) in 37 cities: 100 marks - Part A: 80 discipline MCQs (90 min, -1/3 negative marking); Part B: aptitude, max 15 questions for 20 marks (30 min, no negative marking)
- Shortlisting for interview in 1:5 ratio; Interview for 100 marks
- Final selection weightage 50:50 (written : interview); qualifying: min 50% in interview and 60% aggregate (UR)
