Educational Qualification & Experience
- Degree / PG Diploma in Journalism / Mass Communication / relevant field from any university/institute.
- Proficiency in bilingual Hindi and Punjabi; English proficiency desirable.
- At least 5 years experience in relevant field.
Prasar Bharati Age Limit 2026
Below 40 years as on date of notification. Duration of engagement: One year (annual appraisal, extendable on requirement and performance review).
Nature of Duties
- Reporting from the ground and supplying reports in suitable format to the newsroom.
- Hosting live segments and taking interviews / tic-tacs for live broadcast and post-produced programs.
- Writing, voicing and getting stories and programs edited; providing content including hashtags for Social Media.
- Covering complex and varied stories across India and abroad; preparing coverage plans.
- Producing accurate, engaging and informative news stories; newsroom related work.
