POWERGRID is engaged under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for one-year apprenticeship training at North Eastern Region, Shillong. The apprenticeship is open for candidates from the following states/UTs: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura.

Eligibility

• Educational qualification as per the Apprentices Act 1961 — passed ITI (Electrician) / Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Telecom) within two years from the closing date of application.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Medically fit as per provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961.
• Not eligible: if awaiting results, already undergone or currently undergoing apprenticeship training anywhere, or having more than 1 year of job experience.
