- Last date of application: 13 October 2026 (by email to [email protected] as per the given proforma).
- Interview: 16 October 2026 from 1:00 PM onwards at PILBS, SAS Nagar, Mohali. Registration process and document verification cum screening starts at 12:00 PM on 16 October 2026.
- Age limit: Professor 70 years; Associate Professor 55 years; Assistant Professor 50 years; Senior Resident 45 years.
- Tenure: All posts except Senior Residents are on contract basis initially for 4 years including one year probation, extendable by one year; Senior Residents 3 years; Emergency Medical Officers 1 year.
- Qualification: As per NMC norms – DM/M.Ch./DNB/MS for faculty posts; MD/MS/DNB or 03 years Senior Residency for Senior Residents; MD (Medicine) or MS (General Surgery) for Emergency Medical Officers. Punjabi up to Matriculation level is mandatory.
- Documents: Candidates must bring original certificates with two spare copies at the interview. Number of posts may be increased, decreased or withdrawn without notice.

- Associate Professor / Assistant Professor: DM/M.Ch./DNB/MS as per NMC norms; Assistant Professors need two original peer-reviewed publications (at least one first-author).

- All appointments except Residents are on a contract basis initially for 4 years including a probationary period of one year, extendable by one more year at the discretion of the Director. A review is carried out at the end of 3 years.

- The tenure of Emergency Medical Officers will be 1 year.
