Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana – Department of Soil Science invites applications on the prescribed form for engagement of one post of Senior Research Fellow at Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA per month, fixed on a contractual basis for a period of six months, in the scheme “All India Coordinated Research Project on Micro and Secondary Nutrients and pollutant elements in Soils and plants, ICAR-19 (PC-2020)”.

Summary

Educational Qualifications

1. B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
2. M.Sc. in Soil Science / Chemistry / Microbiology with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.

Notes

• The candidate who does not possess Master's degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master's level, shall be eligible for the post.
• Candidates having M.Sc. degree must have qualified NET.
• Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having experience of analysis of soil and plant samples by using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer.

• The application form for the above said post may be obtained from the office of the Head, Department of Soil Science by submitting a bank draft for Rs. 200/- issued in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana.
• Last date for receipt of applications, duly completed in all respects, is 29-9-2026. Incomplete applications or unsupported by requisite documents will not be entertained.
• Candidates should appear for interview on 5-10-2026 at 11.30 AM in the office room of the Head of the Department. No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid.
