Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana – Department of Soil Science invites applications on the prescribed form for engagement of one post of Senior Research Fellow on a fixed contractual basis for a period of six months, in the scheme “Studies on the performance on Nano Urea Plus & Nano Dap on productivity of different cropping system” (Misc-111 / PC-8020).

Educational qualifications
- B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
- M.Sc. in Soil Science / Chemistry / Botany with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.
Notes:
- A candidate who does not possess a Master's degree in the relevant subject but possesses a Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at the Master's level shall be eligible for the post.
- Candidates holding an M.Sc. degree must have qualified NET.
Desirable: preference will be given to candidates having previous experience in conducting soil surveys, collecting and analysing soil samples under field and laboratory conditions, and working with various routine soil analytical instruments.
