Training, Emoluments & Placement
- Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 2 years at any of NTPC sites/stations.
- Consolidated stipend of Rs. 24,000/- per month during training.
- On successful completion, candidates will be absorbed in the open pay scale of Rs. 24,000/- 3% (W7 grade).
Age Limit
Upper Age limit is 30 years (inclusive of 05 years relaxation) as on the last date of application.
Educational Qualification
Full time regular Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering with pass marks. Note: Candidates having full-time regular Diploma pass certificate as on the date of application will only be eligible to apply.

Selection Process
Eligible candidates will have to undergo 2 stages of Online Test (Computer Based Test):
- 1st Stage: Online Aptitude Test (120 questions) covering General English, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning; 2 hours duration; 1 mark per question, 0.25 negative marking; qualifying marks 30%; candidates shortlisted @ 1:10 for 2nd stage. 1st stage is only qualifying in nature.
- 2nd Stage: Online Technical Test (120 questions) in the respective discipline; 2 hours duration; 1 mark per question, 0.25 negative marking; qualifying marks 30%; no skill test.
Offer of appointment shall be issued based on merit.
