NSU Manipur Guest Faculty & Life Guard Walk-in Interview 2026
The National Sports University (NSU), Imphal, Manipur (A Central University under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India) invites applications for engagement as Guest Faculty and Life Guard on a purely temporary basis for six (6) months initially (F.No.33/NSU/Rec-GL/2019-20-976, Advt. Total: 10 positions. Engagement is purely temporary for 6 months initially, extendable based on requirement.
Essential Qualifications (Summary)
- Guest Faculty: Master’s degree in the concerned/relevant/allied subject with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL) from a recognized University, with NET/Ph.D. as per UGC norms. Sports Coaching disciplines (Archery, Wushu, Shooting) require M.Sc. (Sports Sciences)/MSS/M.P.E.S. with Diploma/PG Diploma in Sports Coaching; NET/SLET/SET not required for Sports Coaching, Sports Nutrition, Exercise Physiology and Sports Psychology disciplines.
- Life Guard (Swimming): 10+2 or equivalent with valid Swimming Lifeguard certification from a recognized Institute/Organisation; desirable: one year aquatic supervision experience, First Aid/CPR certification.
