NIT Warangal JRF Recruitment 2026 - Advt No. NITW/CED/WRE/NVU/JD/01
Applications are invited for the selection of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the ANRF sponsored project Physics-informed AI for Hydrological Forecasting in Peninsular India at the Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Warangal. The project integrates physical hydrological principles with advanced AI models to improve prediction accuracy for water resource management. Last date to apply: 17 September 2026.

Essential Qualification
- B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering or Equivalent degree AND M.Tech/M.E in a relevant Civil Engineering specialization; with minimum 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA at both UG and PG (55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD). GATE is not mandatory. OR
- B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering or Equivalent degree with at least CGPA of 7.5/10 or 70% marks (7.0/10 or 65% for SC/ST/PwD). GATE is not mandatory.
Desirable Experience
- GATE qualification; prior knowledge of Hydrological Modelling; programming skills in R/Python/MATLAB; good analytical ability and writing skills.
