Applications are invited from Indian citizens with an excellent academic background for contractual appointments of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) (and Project Associate-I as fallback) under the ANRF-PAIR project “Consortium of Technologies for Sustainable Agriculture, Health, Energy and Environment (CTS AH)” at NIT Rourkela. Engagement is purely temporary/contractual and co-terminus with the project.

JRF: Post Graduate degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following: (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE; (b) selection through National Eligibility Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies/Institutions such as DBT, DST, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.

- Shared accommodation shall be provided in the hostel.
- Candidates appearing for their final examination are also eligible to apply; however, the qualifying degree result must be submitted by 30th October 2026.
- Selected candidates are required to register for the Ph.D. programme.
