Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the ANRF-ARG project titled "Earthquake Resilient Novel Reinforced Foundation Techniques for XL Offshore Wind Turbines: Experimental and Numerical Investigations" funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) (Ref. No. NITK/CED/1507, dated 11.06.2026; deadline extended).

Essential Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech (Civil Engineering) and M.E./M.Tech in Geotechnical Engg/Ocean Engg/Marine Structures or suitable specialization.
- At least 60% marks (CGPA 6.5/10) in aggregate from a recognized institute/university.
- GATE qualified (at least once in academic career) is preferable but not mandatory.
Project & Principal Investigator
- Project: Earthquake Resilient Novel Reinforced Foundation Techniques for XL Offshore Wind Turbines (duration 03 years, 2026-2029).
- PI: Dr. Babloo Chaudhary, Department of Civil Engineering, NITK Surathkal.
- Duration: Initially 1 year, extendable till project termination based on performance.
