NIT Jamshedpur (Department of Mechanical Engineering) — Project Research Scientist-I (non-medical), 01 post for ICMR-sponsored project “NIDAAN: Novel AI-enabled Intelligent Detection and Analysis Array for Nephrology in Resource-Limited Settings – Phase II (Prototype Development)” (Advt. NITJSR/DME/2026/055, 05.11.2026).
Remuneration: ₹56,000/- per month + 20% HRA if accommodation not provided. Duration: initially 1 year, extendable based on performance up to 3 years (co-terminus with project). PI: Dr. Pranab Kumar Kundu, Associate Professor (ME), NIT Jamshedpur.
Essential (ICMR non-medical): Post Graduate Degree including integrated PG degrees; for Engineering/IT/CS – 4-year Graduate degree. Desirable: experience in point-of-care/in-vitro diagnostics, bio-assay development, image analysis, rapid prototyping, customized instrumentation, microfluidic devices, physiological samples, clinical validation, ethical guidelines, prototype development; relevant industry experience desirable.
