Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal invites applications for one temporary position of Technical Assistant under the DRDO-GTRE sponsored project "Study of High Temperature Characteristics of Aeroengine Alloy under Long Term Exposure" (Sanction No. GTRE/26CR0001/MTG/GN/CMS-III). (Adv. No. 02/MME/GVSNR/GTRE/26-27, dated 29-07-2026.) Project duration: 3 years.

Job Description
Operation, routine monitoring, preventive maintenance, documentation and troubleshooting support for high-temperature creep testing facilities used for long-duration aeroengine material research; mounting and aligning test specimens; setting and monitoring load and temperature; maintaining test logs, equipment usage records and safety checklists.
