NIT Patna - Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a PMECRG research project
National Institute of Technology Patna, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PMECRG) programme of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) / SERB.

Project title: “Developing Secure Maritime Tactical Communication System via Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface-aided Hybrid Satellite-Terrestrial Network”
Post details
- Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) — 01 post
- Duration: 2 years (initially 1 year, with possible extension depending on performance)
- Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- per month + 18% HRA, as applicable, for the first two years
- Nature of appointment: purely temporary; performance will be reviewed periodically
- Age limit: 35 years or below as on the last date for receipt of application
Eligibility requirements
Master’s degree (M.Tech./M.Sc./M.S.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering or VLSI discipline with at least 55% marks. Candidates with a B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering are also eligible to apply.
Desired skills: proficiency in VLSI design for wireless communication (FPGA-based modelling). Experience with AMD Vivado design suite, Vitis tools, etc. is preferred.
