- Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy/Life Sciences/Biotechnology. Desirable: PhD thesis submitted; 1 yr research experience in protein isolation, LC-MS omics.
- Project Technical Support-III: 12th Science + MLT/DMLT Diploma + 5 yrs experience, OR 3-yr Life Sciences degree + 2 yrs experience, OR PG in Life Sciences.
- Age: PRS-I – 35 yrs; PTS-III – 30 yrs (as on date of application). Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC per Central Govt. norms.
- Category: Both posts UR.
- Nationality: Indian Nationals only.

NIPER Hajipur Project Research Scientist-I & Project Technical Support-III Recruitment 2026 – 02 Posts (ICMR FIW Project) | Apply by 08 Sep
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) Hajipur – an autonomous institution of national importance under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India (NIPER Act 1998) – invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for two contractual posts under the ICMR project "First in the World Challenge: A Nasal Spray Formula for Pulmonary Delivery to Control Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR-TB)" (Id. EM/Dev/FIW/00252/2024, E-office-227016), Principal Investigator: Dr P Ramalingam, NIPER Hajipur. The project is in collaboration with ICMR-NIRT, Chennai.

Nature of Post: Both posts are temporary, co-terminus with the project. Initial appointment for 1 year. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Central Govt. norms.
Qualification & Experience
Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical):
- Essential: Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy / Life Sciences / Biotechnology.
- Desirable: PhD thesis submitted in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or equivalent discipline.
- Preference: Candidates with at least 1 year research experience in protein isolation from mammalian/bacterial samples, LC-MS-based omics studies, and characterization.
Project Technical Support-III:
- 12th in Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + Five years experience in a medical/research laboratory; OR
- Three-year graduate degree in Life Sciences + Two years experience in a medical/research laboratory; OR
- Postgraduate (PG) degree in Life Sciences without professional experience.
- Desirable: Experience in in-vitro anti-TB assays, cell culture handling, in-vivo animal experiments, preferably with knowledge of handling Mycobacterium tuberculosis cultures.
Qualifications must be from a recognized Board/University/Institute.
