NIMHANS Project Research Scientist-I Non-Medical (Psychology) Recruitment 2026
National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru is conducting a Walk-in Selection for the post of Project Research Scientist-I Non-Medical (Psychology) on contract basis for the project "ICMR Center for Advanced Research in Digital Interventions for Mental Health Care", funded by ICMR, under Dr. Seema Mehrotra, Professor, Dept. of Clinical Psychology and PI, NIMHANS, as per Notification No. NIMH/PROJ/ICMR/PRS-I(NM-P)/1817/NOTIF/2026-2027.

Essential Qualification
- Postgraduate degree in Psychology (including integrated PG degrees)
Nature of Experience
- Experience of working in the field of digital mental health
- Experience of research in clinical/community samples
- Quantitative and qualitative research methods
Other Considerations
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and Kannada
Emoluments / Salary
Rs. 56,000/- + 30% HRA per month
Age Limit
Maximum 35 years.

Important Notes
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview
- Candidates working in projects (Extramural/Intramural) at NIMHANS must produce NOC from their PI
- Candidates must score minimum 50% in the written examination; for direct interview, minimum 50% in interview
- No hostel accommodation will be provided for project staff
- The Institute reserves the right to select a suitable candidate
