NIMHANS Field Officer Recruitment 2026 – Urban Self-HArm Study (USHAS)
The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, is conducting a Walk-in Selection for Field Officer on contract basis for the Himalaya Wellness Company funded project Urban Self-HArm Study (USHAS) under Dr. Anish V Cherian, Additional Professor of PSW & PI.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Emergency-based intervention for suicide-attempt and self-harm cases
- Telephone follow-up and data entry in proforma sheet and Google Sheets
- Ready to work in general hospitals in Karnataka

Instructions
- Candidates must report 30 minutes before scheduled time
- Bring resume, original testimonials, and 1 set of self-attested photocopies
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview
- Candidates currently working at NIMHANS must produce NOC from their Principal Investigator
- Minimum 50% marks in written examination required to qualify for skill test/interview
- Institute reserves the right to select suitable candidate; essential qualifications alone do not guarantee selection
- No hostel accommodation will be provided for project staff
