The National Institute of Immunology (NII), New Delhi invites applications for one position of Senior Research Fellow / Junior Research Fellow (Project) in the DBT-funded time-bound project “Understanding the interactions of p53, insulin-IGF-signaling and FOXO in development, germ cell proliferation, stress and cancer” under Dr. Arnab Mukhopadhyay (Staff Scientist-VII). Tenable till 11.06.2027; contract for one year at a time.

Essential qualification
- JRF: M.Sc. or M.Tech. in any Life Sciences area with a good record; M.Sc. candidates must have cleared a National Level Eligibility Test (NET / GATE etc.) and must have done a minimum 6-month dissertation project in MSc (stated in CV with techniques)
- SRF: at least 2 years research experience in laboratory settings plus a cleared National Level Eligibility Test (NET / GATE etc.)
- Required hands-on experience: cell culture (maintenance, transfection, transduction) and molecular biology (RNA isolation, qRT-PCR, western blotting, microbiology); RNA-seq and metabolomics analysis skills preferred; prior PA / JRF work must be described with techniques
- Project work is cell culture and molecular biology experiments; interview offline / online; no hostel facility; no TA/DA
