Consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules and funding agency norms; contract for six months or the duration of the project, whichever is shorter; no hostel/housing facility will be provided.

Eligibility Criteria

  • PTS-III: Three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject with three years post-qualification experience, or Post Graduate degree in a relevant subject. Desirable: PG degree with research experience in laboratory settings; animal handling experience preferred.
  • PTS-I: 10th pass + Diploma (MLT / DMLT / ITI or equivalent) + two years of experience in the relevant subject.
  • Required for both posts: hands-on experience in cell culture and molecular biology, particularly RNA isolation, quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) and western blotting, and animal handling.

Application Fee

  • Rs. 100/- by Demand Draft drawn on Canara Bank or Indian Bank, payable at Delhi/New Delhi, in favour of the Director, NII, or payment through UPI/Paytm/PhonePe (Beneficiary: Director, NII; A/c No. 1484101001636; IFSC: CNRB0001484), payable at the time of interview.
  • Women and SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of fees subject to submission of documentary proof.

Selection Process

  • Shortlisting of applications received in the prescribed format.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the offline interview and required to submit attested copies of all certificates along with the application fee at the time of interview.
  • Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification; no TA/DA for attending the interview.
