NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., invites applications from experienced professionals for the following Manager (E-4 Grade) posts in Renewable Energy area across India (Advertisement No. 03/26, dated 11.08.2026).

Vacancy Details

Total Vacancies: 34

The total number of projected vacancies may increase/decrease at the discretion of NGEL Management. Reservations for PwBD candidates will be as per Govt. Guidelines.

Post-wise Eligibility

1. Manager – RE (E-4 Grade) – 28 Posts

• Qualification: Fulltime Graduate in Engineering (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Control & Instrumentation / Civil / Mechanical) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution in India.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Power Sector in a Govt Organization / PSU / Private Organization. Out of which at least 04 years in Renewable Energy Developers having 50 MW or more grid connected Solar and/or Wind and/or BESS Project(s) in Business Development / Engineering / Contracts & Procurement / Commercial / Project Management / Corporate Planning / Strategy.
• For Govt/PSU candidates: Minimum 02 years' experience in the scale of Rs. 60,000 – 180,000 or above (IDA Pay scale of E-3 Grade or above of DPE effective from 01-01-2017) or equivalent scale out of the above mentioned Ten (10) years of Post Qualification Executive Experience.
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
• Pay Scale: E-4 Grade / IDA w.e.f. 01.01.2017 (Rs. 70,000 – 200,000/-).
• Category: UR-13, SC-04, ST-02, OBC-07, EWS-02.

2. Manager – Finance (E-4 Grade) – 05 Posts

• Qualification: CA / CMA (previously ICWA) qualified from institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years post-qualification executive experience (excluding article ship period and including training period, if any) in the area of Finance/Accounts in a Govt Organization / PSU / Private Organization.
• Preference: Candidates with knowledge of SAP, MS Office and Data Analytics will be preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with RE Developer Company.
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
• Pay Scale: E-4 Grade / IDA w.e.f. 01.01.2017 (Rs. 70,000 – 200,000/-).
• Category: UR-04, SC-00, ST-00, OBC-01, EWS-00.

3. Manager – Land (E-4 Grade) – 01 Post

• Qualification: Full Time PG Degree / PG Diploma / PG Programme in Rural Management / Rural Development / Displacement / Resettlement / Rehabilitation / Community Development / Local Governance / Local Development / Livelihoods / Social Entrepreneurship / Social Development / Social Administration / Sustainable Development / Development Policy & Practice / Development Studies or MSW or MBA or Graduate in Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution in India.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (including training period, if any) in land acquisition / land aggregation / land management in a Govt Organization / PSU / Private Organization. Out of which at least 04 years' experience should be of land acquisition / land aggregation / land management for Renewable Energy developers having 50 MW or more grid connected Solar and/or Wind and/or BESS Project(s).
• Preference: Candidates with knowledge of SAP, MS Office and Data Analytics will be preferred.
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
• Pay Scale: E-4 Grade / IDA w.e.f. 01.01.2017 (Rs. 70,000 – 200,000/-).
• Category: UR-01, SC-00, ST-00, OBC-00, EWS-00.

Selection Process

Management reserves the right to conduct multi-stage selection process which may comprise of application shortlisting/screening (based on qualification/% of marks/no. of years' experience etc.), Written Test / Group Discussion / Interview etc. or combination of Written Test, Group Discussion and Interview or to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria.

Medical Examination

Candidates must have sound health. Before joining, candidates will have to undergo medical examination at any of the specified govt. hospitals (having status of minimum district hospital).
