The appointment will initially be for one year. It may be extended based on the candidate’s performance and the continuation of the DPIIT-IPR Chair.
If no suitable candidate is available for the Research Officer position, the university may appoint an additional Research Assistant against the vacancy. A maximum of two Research Assistants may therefore be engaged, subject to approval from the competent authority.
The DPIIT-IPR Chair at NLUJA Assam was established by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
