CSIR-NAL Project Staff Walk-in Interview 2026 – Advt No. 13/2026/PS

CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru, a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for the engagement of Project Staff on a purely temporary and contract basis under CSIR/Externally funded/Other projects (Advt No. 13/2026/PS, published 05.08.2026).

Note: Total positions are 89. Vacancies may vary as per project requirements. CSIR-NAL will also draw a panel of waitlisted candidates valid for one year.

Essential Qualifications (General Pattern)

• Project Associate-I (PAT-I): Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University OR equivalent qualification recognized by the competent authority (for Chemistry/Materials posts, Masters/Integrated Masters in relevant Science also considered).
• Project Associate-II (PAT-II): Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with 2 years' R&D experience OR Masters/Integrated Masters in Engineering/Technology.
• PAT-I (NET/GATE) & PAT-II (NET/GATE): Same as above with valid NET/GATE qualification.
• Project Assistant-I (PA-I): SSC/10th plus ITI in Fitter/Turner/Machinist/Manufacturing.
• Project Assistant-II (PA-II): Diploma in Engineering/Technology (Mechanical) or B.Sc. (Chemistry).
• Senior PAT: Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering/Technology with 3 years' R&D experience OR Masters with 2 years' experience.
• Principal PAT: BE/B.Tech with 3 years' experience OR ME/M.Tech with NET/GATE OR Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
• Age limit: 35 years for most positions (relaxation as per rules).

Walk-in Interview Details

Interviews held on 10, 12, 14, 17, 21, 24 and 25 August 2026 (date depends on post/specialization). Registration between 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM only; no registration after 9:45 AM.

Venue: CSIR-NAL (RAB Meeting Complex, National Aerospace Laboratories), Adjacent to SBI, NAL Branch, Kodihalli, Bengaluru – 560017.

2. Bring the duly filled application form (available on website), latest passport-size photo, Aadhaar or Govt. ID, original certificates with one set of photocopies (including Caste Certificate, if any).
