Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal has released the rule book for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026 for In-Service Teachers Teaching Primary and Secondary Classes, being conducted as a special eligibility test exclusively for currently serving teachers, pursuant to the Supreme Court of India order dated 01.09.2025 (Civil Appeal Nos. 1385/2025 and 1386/2025).

Primary TET: Child Development & Pedagogy 30, Language-1 30, Language-2 30, Mathematics 30, Environmental Studies 30 = 150 Marks (2 hr 30 min, no negative marking).
Secondary TET: Part A (Compulsory, 30 marks – Languages, GK & Current Affairs, Reasoning & Numerical Ability, Pedagogy) + Part B (choose one subject – Hindi/English/Sanskrit/Urdu/Mathematics/Science/Social Science, 120 marks).
