- Assistant Librarian (8 posts): Master's in Library/Information/Documentation Science with 55% marks, good academic record and knowledge of library computerisation, plus NET/SLET/SET.
- Dean (2 posts): Doctorate in any branch of Horticulture with 20 years experience (5 years as Professor).
- Age: 35 years for Assistant Professor/Librarian (40 for Chhattisgarh bonafide residents, cap 45); 62 years for Dean. Relaxation as per C.G. Govt. rules.

Qualification
- Assistant Professor: Master's degree in the concerned agricultural discipline with at least 55% marks (or 6.50 in a 10.00 scale) and a good academic record, plus NET/ICAR-CSIRO/UGC-CSIR or equivalent test.
- NET is exempted for candidates awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or subsequent regulations notified by UGC.
- Assistant Librarian: Master's degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science (or equivalent professional degree) with at least 55% marks and a consistently good academic record, with knowledge of computerization of library; plus NET/SLET/SET or equivalent UGC-accredited test (Ph.D. holders exempted).
- Good academic record means: second class Master's (55%+), second class Bachelor's (55%+) and no third division anywhere from Higher Secondary onwards.
Age Limit
- Assistant Professor / Assistant Librarian: maximum 35 years as on the last date of online application. Relaxation for ST, SC, OBC, women and Divyang candidates (bonafide residents of Chhattisgarh) as per C.G. Govt. rules. For bonafide residents of Chhattisgarh the upper age limit is 40 years, but never above 45 years including all relaxations.
- Dean: maximum 62 years as on the last date of application.
