- Qualification: As per UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers) Regulations, 2018 for Assistant Professors; UGC/AICTE norms for CS & IT.
- Age: Superannuated teachers may be engaged up to 70 years.
- Fee: General/OBC/EWS Rs. 1,000/- (DD); SC/ST/PwD/Women – NIL.
- Honorarium: Rs. 1,500/- per lecture (max Rs. 50,000/month).

MGCU Motihari Guest Faculty Walk-in-Interview 2026 – 09 Posts (Employment Notice Guest Faculty/01/2026) | 03, 11 & 12 Sep
Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU), Motihari – a Central University established by an Act of Parliament – invites applications in the prescribed format (Annexure-1) from eligible candidates for Guest Faculty positions in various teaching departments to teach specific courses in the current/forthcoming academic semesters. Appointment is on purely temporary basis.

Essential Qualification
The qualification for Guest Faculty shall be the same as prescribed for regular Assistant Professors under the UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges) Regulations, 2018. For Computer Science & IT, the qualification shall be as prescribed by UGC/AICTE, New Delhi.
Honorarium
Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month. Guest Faculty will not be given allowances, pension, gratuity and leave as admissible to regular teachers. Superannuated teachers may be engaged subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.

- Candidates should bring the duly completed application form (Annexure-1) and two passport-size photographs, along with original and self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials on the date of walk-in-interview.

- Candidates are advised to send a scanned copy of the application form by email on or before one day prior to the scheduled interview date at: rac@mgcub.ac.in
- Reporting and registration time: one hour before the scheduled interview time.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
