Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, has invited applications for engagement of 02 Consultants (Legal Cell) in the Legal & Treaties-II (L&T-II) Division, New Delhi, under Advertisement No. Q/PF/575/29/2026 dated 28.07.2026.

Period of Consultancy: 01 year, extendable subject to performance, mutual willingness and requirement.

Educational Qualification: LLB/B.L (3-year or 5-year course) from a recognised institute in India with good academic record. Preference for Masters in Law and experience as an advocate. At least 5 years of work experience post-enrolment as an advocate. Proficiency in computers. Working experience with a Government Ministry/Department or PSU as legal advisor preferred.

Age Limit: 25 to 55 years.

Remuneration: Maximum Rs. 12,00,000/- per annum (subject to deduction of applicable taxes).

Selection Process: Review of applications, shortlisting and Interview/Written Test.
