Eligibility (PGT Chemistry)
- Integrated postgraduate course from an NCTE-recognised institution/university in the concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate, including the B.Ed. component; or
- Master’s degree from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate in the concerned subject and B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks; or
- Three-year integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. with at least 50% marks; or
- Four-year integrated degree with at least 50% marks from an NCTE-recognised institution, including the B.Ed. component.
- Proficiency to teach in Hindi and English medium. The Master’s degree must be in Chemistry or a specialisation in Chemistry, with Chemistry studied at graduation level.
- Desirable: subject knowledge of Chemistry for Classes IX–XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
