- Full-time Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering (AICTE-recognized); 1 year post-qualification experience for degree holders, 2 years for diploma holders — supervision of rolling-stock maintenance (LHB/ICF coaches, wagons, MEMU, locos, track machines).
- Age not more than 40 years as on 01.09.2026 (OBC-NCL +3, SC/ST +5 for respective posts).
