- As per UGC Regulations and Government of Maharashtra GR dated 08/03/2019: Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for reserved candidates) in the relevant subject.
- NET / SET (or SLET/Ph.D. as equivalent as per UGC 2009 norms) in the concerned subject is essential.
- For subject codes 43/44 (Computer/Mechanical Engineering) at University Institute of Chemical Technology: B.Tech/M.Tech in the relevant branch as per AICTE norms (as applicable).
- No age limit. Retired teachers (up to 65 years) can also apply as per rules; appointment on temporary/contract basis.
