Eligibility
- Must hold a Certificate of Competency as Master of a Foreign Going Ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- At least one year of post-qualification experience as Master or Chief Officer of a foreign going ship.
- Maximum age 55 years at the time of entry to pilotage service.
- Only Indian nationals are eligible.
