IWAI Internship Programme 2026-27
Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) offers an opportunity to undergraduate/post-graduate/Research Scholar students to undertake an internship at its Headquarters in Noida, U.P. and various Regional/Sub Offices located across pan India (Circular F. No. IWAI-17012(12)/1/2023-Admin Rect dated 05.03.2026). Internships are available throughout the year based on the requirement of IWAI.

Marine Engineering, Hydrography, Fairway Development, River Information Systems, Traffic and Cargo Handling, Terminal Planning and Operations, Vessels Operations, Navigation & Vessel Traffic Management Systems, River Cruises & related affairs, Indo-Bangladesh Protocol Route, Capacity Building, Finance, Administration, Information Technology related to Water Transport, Legal, HR, etc.
Eligibility

| Graduate students | At least 75% marks in 12th examination |
| Post-Graduation students | At least 60% in the graduation degree |
| Research Scholars | At least 60% in Post-Graduation |

| Duration | Minimum 01 month, maximum 03 months (up to 06 months in exceptional cases) |

How to Apply
- Submit the application in the prescribed format under the terms and conditions of the IWAI Internship Programme.
- Interns will be required to have their own laptops; working space will be provided by IWAI.
- On satisfactory completion and submission of report, an experience certificate shall be issued by IWAI.
