Position Overview

ISPP is seeking a dynamic Senior Research Associate for its ICUT initiative. The role involves leading research activities, building knowledge assets, and managing capacity-building programmes aimed at strengthening urban governance and policy development.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Research Associate will be responsible for:

• Conducting research on urban sector issues and producing policy briefs
• Designing and delivering capacity-building programmes for stakeholders
• Managing institutional partnerships with ULBs, government bodies, and think tanks
• Developing digital learning content and knowledge products
• Overseeing programme operations, documentation, and reporting
• Supporting the ICUT team in outreach, coordination, and programme execution

Eligibility & Requirements

Qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree in Urban Planning, Public Policy, Economics, Management, or related disciplines

Experience & Skills:

• Relevant experience in urban research, consulting, or policy work
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Ability to manage projects, stakeholders, and training/capacity-building initiatives
• Comfort in collaborative, research-driven environments
