- Three years (or lateral entry after Class-XII (Sc)/ITI admitted in 2nd year of Diploma course) full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering from a Government-recognised Institute.
Technician Apprentice (Electrical)
- Three years (or lateral entry after Class-XII (Sc)/ITI admitted in 2nd year of Diploma course) full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a Government-recognised Institute.
Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation)
- Three years (or lateral entry after Class-XII (Sc)/ITI admitted in 2nd year of Diploma course) full-time Diploma from a Government-recognised Institute in Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Radio Communication / Instrumentation & Control / Instrumentation & Process Control / Electronics Engineering.

Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders)
- Minimum 12th Pass (but below Graduate) plus a Skill Certificate of 'Domestic Data Entry Operator' for training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognised under NSQF or any Central Government authority.
- Prescribed qualification must be from a recognised University/Institute as a regular full-time course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST and PwBD candidates for reserved posts).
- Part-time/correspondence/distance education qualifications are not eligible; candidates with/be pursuing higher professional qualifications such as BE/B.Tech., MBA, CA, LLB, MCA are not eligible.
- Candidates must have completed the prescribed qualification on or before the cut-off date 30.11.2026; those with awaited results are not eligible.
- Candidates who have undergone, or are pursuing, apprenticeship training, or have 1 year or more of training/job experience after the qualification, or have completed 5 years after acquiring the qualification as on the cut-off date, are not eligible.
