Project and Job Description

The selected candidate will support biofunctionalisation processes, assay preparation and execution, TB LAM assay testing and clinical benchmarking for the ICMR project on a urine-based, non-invasive tuberculosis screening biosensor. Duties include preparing and executing biofunctionalisation protocols for biosensor components, handling biological samples and assay reagents, optimising experimental conditions, benchmarking biosensor results against standard reference methods, operating and maintaining laboratory and analytical instruments, maintaining records and assisting research scientists. Candidates with practical experience in biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology, immunoassays, biosensors, biofunctionalisation, clinical sample processing or biomedical technologies will be preferred.

Essential Qualifications

Three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject / field with three years post-qualification experience, or a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject / field; for Engineering / IT / CS, a four-year graduate degree. Age limit: up to 35 years.
