IIT Hyderabad – MSME (Dr. Shourya Dutta Gupta, ICMR): Junior Research Fellow (JRF), 02 posts. Duration: 12 months (extendable). Fellowship: ₹37,000 + HRA (as per norms). Work: biosensors for eye disease diagnostics (with LVPEI, Hyderabad), imaging/spectroscopic platforms, software for control/data acquisition/visualization, reports/publications/patents. Encouraged to register for PhD at IITH per norms.
Essential (any one): Master’s (M.E./M.Tech/equiv) first class; OR M.Sc./equiv in any science discipline first class + valid GATE (or INSPIRE / Joint CSIR-UGC NET with JRF / DBT JRF); OR B.Tech from CFIs with CGPA ≥8.0 (no GATE); OR B.E./B.Tech or equiv any discipline first class + valid GATE. Desirable: optical/biosensor development; nanoparticle synthesis/nanofabrication & characterization; spectroscopy/imaging; Arduino/ESP32 platforms; Python/MATLAB GUI/coding.
