Job Description
- Work at the Computational Combustion and ML (CCML) Lab on fundamental problems in turbulent combustion modeling, focusing on flamelet-based combustion models for Large-eddy Simulation (LES) and physics-guided machine learning
- Develop and implement flamelet-based models for turbulent flames in OpenFOAM; perform DNS/LES of canonical reacting flows; develop machine-learning closures for subgrid-scale turbulence-chemistry interaction
- Co-mentor graduate and undergraduate students; opportunities to engage in teaching activities
