IIT Dharwad Junior Research Fellow (EECE, DRDO-AR&DB Project) 2026
Recruitment No. IITDH/EECE/VRP/8.247/DRDO-AR&DB/2026-27/001 dated 17.09.2026 (Research and Development Section, dean.rnd.office@iitdh.ac.in).
Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad (Institute of National Importance) will hold an online selection process for 01 temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering under a DRDO-AR&DB project.
Project Work
Fabrication of gallium oxide (Ga2O3)-based UV radiation detectors; electrical and UV spectral characterization; high-temperature and reliability studies.
Eligibility
- Option A: M.Tech./M.S./M.E. or equivalent in ECE / Electrical / EEE / Instrumentation or related stream in first division at both graduate and post-graduate level.
- Option B: B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent in the above streams in first division with valid GATE score or valid UGC/CSIR NET JRF/LS scorecard.
- Option C: M.Sc. in Physics / Electronics or related stream in first division with valid GATE or valid UGC/CSIR NET JRF/LS scorecard.
- Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of selection process.
Pay
Consolidated Rs.37,000/- per month + 20% HRA.
Selection Process
Shortlisting on eligibility followed by online interview (tentative date intimated later). No TA/DA. Institute may increase/decrease posts.
