IIT Delhi Project Scientist Recruitment 2026 - Advt No. IITD/IRD/217/2026
Applications from Indian nationals are invited for the project appointment of Project Scientist (02) under the project F2 Inertial Odometry (RM00082N) at the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Delhi. Appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay subject to periodic performance review, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

Essential Qualification
- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Relevant professional/research experience is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in Radar/LiDAR integration and SLAM.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with Radar LIDAR IMU fusion.
- Knowledge of factor graphs, pose-graph optimization or nonlinear optimization.
- Experience with sensors such as Ouster LIDAR, automotive radar, IMU and GNSS/RTK.
- Experience developing and testing algorithms on real-world autonomous vehicle data.
- Publications, patents, technical reports, or demonstrated R&D contributions in robotics/autonomous systems will be an advantage.
