IIT Delhi Project Assistant (Technical) Recruitment 2026 - Advt No. IITD/IRD/225/2026
Applications from Indian nationals are invited for the project appointment of Project Assistant (Tech.) - 02 posts under the project Investigating Cultural Hegemony in Large Language Models Across Indian States: Quantification, Benchmarking and Mitigation (RM00109G_SN) at the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Delhi. Appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science (B.Tech) or a related discipline with dedicated research experience.
- Experience with Indian languages in computational settings.
- Hands-on exposure to LLMs, bias and responsible AI expertise in multilingual Indic alignment and model interpretability.
- Familiarity with foundational NLP tasks, strong analytical and programming skills, and a passion for advancing Indian language AI.
5% relaxation of marks may be granted to the SC/ST candidates.
