- Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in social sciences; OR an outstanding researcher with a first class postgraduate degree in social science or natural science and a minimum of six years of research experience.
- Essential experience: deep familiarity with sustainability transitions and technological innovation; understanding of climate policy and low-carbon development in the Indian and global context; engagement with Indian and/or global climate policy entities; demonstrated capacity to produce high-quality academic publications and policy reports.
- Applicants must attach a short statement indicating how they meet the essential experience criteria.
- 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates.

Tenure
Up to 28.02.2030, on a contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project.
