Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi invites applications for the position of Junior Research Assistant (JRA) in a Council of Science and Technology, UP sponsored project titled "Design and development of AI-based chatbot for loco pilot’s assistance". The project is sanctioned for 3 years and the post is purely temporary.

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Only Indian citizens who are residents of Uttar Pradesh are eligible.
• Educational Qualification: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Academic Performance: First division throughout from high school onwards.
• Age Limit: Up to 28 years as on April 1, 2026. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/physically handicapped/female candidates.
• Desirable: Expertise in machine learning and programming.

General Instructions

• The PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated for the interview. No TA/DA will be paid if called for the interview.

• Original certificates need to be presented for verification during the interview.
• Selected candidates will work under the supervision of PI (Dr. Ravi Shankar Singh).
