IIT Dharwad, an Institute of National Importance established by Act of Parliament in 2016, invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the following technical positions (Advt. No. IITDh/Admin/SR/47/2026-27).

Eligibility - Technical Officer (Post Code 1)
- Essential: B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent in CSE/ECE or allied fields with minimum 60% marks + 6 years relevant experience in Level 6 OR 3 years experience in Level 7 and above
- Experience relaxation: M.Tech/M.E. - normal duration counted (max 2 years); PhD - normal duration counted (max 3 years)
- Desirable: Track record in R&D Labs, Instructional Labs, Handling Projects, establishing new facilities; Leadership qualities; Experience in IT and communication assets, System Administration (Windows/Linux), Network Management, Web application development, Website Management; Network certifications (CCNA, ACMP, JNCIA-Junos etc.); Excellent communication skills
- Upper Age Limit: 42 years
Eligibility - Junior Technical Superintendent (Post Code 2)
- Option A: 3-year Diploma in CSE/allied fields with 60% marks + 6 years experience after diploma
- Option B: Bachelor Degree (other than B.Tech/B.E.) in CS/Computer Applications with 60% marks + 5 years experience after degree
- Option C: B.Tech/B.E. in CSE/Information Science with 60% marks + 3 years experience after degree
- Experience relaxation: Masters Degree - normal duration counted (max 2 years)
- Upper Age Limit: 34 years
Emoluments
Basic Pay + DA + HRA + Transport Allowance as per Government of India rules at Dharwad, Karnataka.
Selection Procedure
- For Pay Level 10 (Technical Officer): Written Test / evaluation (qualifying) followed by Interview. Final selection based on interview performance.
- For Pay Level 6 (Jr. Tech. Superintendent): Written Test I (compulsory) + Written Test II (at discretion of Selection Committee). Final selection based on aggregate marks with 20-40% weightage in Test I and 60-80% in Test II.
