IISER Pune - Field Worker 2026 (Advertisement No. 77/2026, dated 22.09.2026)

• Indian nationals fulfilling the advertised criteria may attend a walk-in interview for 1 Field Worker post, on a temporary and contractual basis.
• Walk-in interview: Thursday, 08.10.2026 at 10:30 AM (candidates reporting after 11:00 AM will not be considered).
• Venue: Seminar Room no. 34, 2nd floor, IISER Pune Campus, Dr. Homi Bhabha Road, Pune 411008.

Eligibility

• Minimum educational qualification: 8th standard. Candidates must be able to read and write in English.
• Preference: Candidates having experience in agriculture, gardening, insect culture maintenance, laboratory assistance, or related work.

Job Requirements

• The successful candidate will have to grow and maintain experimental plants and insect cultures, maintain the growth facility, and assist in the day-to-day lab activities.

Tenure

• Initially for one year, extendable for a further period subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of the project.
• Appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation; no claim of appointment/absorption in IISER Pune.

How to Attend

• Carry a duly filled prescribed application form (download via the "Apply Now" link below the advertisement) and all originals plus one set of self-attested photocopies of: date-of-birth certificate; mark sheets and certificates (10th onward) for educational qualification; all experience certificates; one Government-issued photo identity proof; and one recent passport-size colour photograph.
• No TA/DA for appearing in the interview. The upper age limit/qualification/experience will be reckoned as on the date of the walk-in interview. Age relaxation may be considered for candidates with higher qualification/experience.
