IIIT Kalyani – Visvesvaraya Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF)

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kalyani, an Institute of National Importance, invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Post Doctoral Fellow under the Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and IT: Phase II (Implementation Order No. PHD-02/PDF-2026/20 dated 31-08-2026). Fellowship Details

Eligibility

• Proven academic record including peer-reviewed publications and recognitions.
• PDF applicants currently in regular employment will not be considered; those in temporary academic/research positions may apply but must relinquish their current role if selected.
• PhD from a recognized university with first class (in terms of grades) in all preceding levels and a good academic record throughout.
• PhD must have been completed within the past 5 years as on the last date of submission.
• PhD should not have been completed from IIIT Kalyani.
• Upper age limit: 40 years on the date of submission of application.
• Preference for candidates with active industry linkages and research proposals directed towards industry-specific problems.
