Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi invites applications for engagement of 01 Consultant (HR) purely on contract basis (Advt. No. NT/Con./Del./16/2026).

| Essential Qualification | Good academic record plus Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade B in the UGC seven-point scale. Minimum 10 years working experience at least at the level of Assistant Registrar / Administrative Officer or above in Central Govt. / State Govt. / Educational Institute of Government / Autonomous body / University. Should have retired from Central Govt./State Govt./Autonomous Body/University/reputed Government Educational Institute from pay level L-10 (PB-3 + GP 5400) or above. Thorough knowledge of Central Government rules such as GFR, FR & SR, MACPS guidelines, pay fixation, recruitments, appointment, promotions, etc. Fluent in Computer and MS Office; good command over English (written and spoken). |
| Key Responsibilities | Day-to-day HR Division work: recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff (regular and contractual), processing of promotion and MACP cases, implementation of GoI orders/circulars on service matters, maintenance of reservation and vacancy rosters, preparation of advertisements, handling court cases and para-wise comments, replies to Parliament questions and statutory returns (SC/ST/OBC/PWD), agenda papers for Board of Management on HR matters, seniority lists, records upkeep and employee queries. |
