ICMR New Delhi - Consultant (Medical / Non-Medical) Recruitment 2026
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, intends to engage two Consultants (Medical/Non-Medical) purely on a temporary contract basis for one year by the Division of Reproductive, Child Health and Nutrition, ICMR HQ (No. 5/9/7/Misc(staff)/2026-Nut, dated 28.09.2026).

Desirable Skills / Experience
- Experience in primary research.
- Data analysis (Qualitative and Quantitative).
- Experience of writing study protocols, training protocols, CRF, consent forms, guidelines and manuscripts.
- Software: STATA/SPSS/R/SAS/QGIS.
- Publications in high-impact journals.
Experience Computation Notes (Medical)
- PhD will be considered as 4 years' experience (irrespective of actual duration).
- MD/MS or equivalent will be considered as 3 years' experience.
- MVSc will be considered as 2 years' experience.
- MPH will not be counted as experience.
Selection Process
- If more than 30 candidates apply for each post, a written test of 50 MCQs (1 mark each) related to the duties of the position will be conducted; final selection is based on the combined marks of the written test and personal interview.
- If fewer than 30 candidates apply, selection will be based on personal interview only.
- For retired personnel, only an interview shall be conducted (no written test).
